Susan Boyle, the 47-year-old Scottish contestant on Britain's Got Talent, has become an overnight superstar in America and abroad,
reports CNN. Boyle first wowed audiences last week when she belted out "I Dreamed a Dream" during her audition.
The judges admitted they initially dismissed Boyle just based on her matronly appearance. Judge Piers Morgan has since apologized to her, saying that he "never heard a more surprising, extraordinary voice coming out of somebody so unexpected."
A YouTube clip of Boyle's audition already has more than 28 million views, making her a viral sensation.
