As this season of "Idol" wraps up, the Twitterverse is wondering if the show's newest addition, Kara DioGuardi, will continue as a judge next season. Today, Newsday.com reported a Fox executive said in a conference call with reporters that "couldn't comment on that right now." Newsday.com mused that this meant either Kara is currently negotiating her contract with Fox, or she won't be returning at all.

Twitter users overwhelmingly tweeted that they won't miss the newest judge if she leaves:

1.
brettmjellison really hopes Kara is not a judge on American Idol next season! She brings nothing to the show!
2.
lunaasul I really think that Kara has a problem with Simon #American Idol. I don't see her next season(if they do another) Honestly I don't like her
3.

4.
gwoman1 @RyanSeacrest Oh, and by the way tell me nothing is going to change for next season, maybe except for Kara.
5.
Idolfanaddict @Idol360 I really hope there is some chance in Heaven & earth that Kara will not return next season...I hope...I dream!

"Samantha Who?" and "Sarah Connor" Canceled

ABC's "Samantha Who?" and Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" will not be returning in the fall, according to news reports.

"Samantha Who?," starring Christina Applegate, was originally expected to return to the ABC lineup, but was unable to tighten its budget enough to come back for what would have been the show's third season.

According to Variety, ABC looked to cut around $500,000 by making several changes including switching from single camera shooting to using multiple cameras. The series, however, became less of a priority after ABC picked up 10 new series. Although "Samantha" showed great promise on Mondays, it began to falter when it switched to ABC's Thursday night lineup.

Twitterers were caught by surprise after the announcement:

1.
kraulspace @pamelaribon My condolences. My mom and I bonded (not in a matching red jacket way) over Samantha Who? Nothing else makes us both laugh.
2.
amandabedgood @AccentOnLife say is isn't so of Samantha Who? Such a cute show!
3.
voyage2k @EWPopWatch That's really stupid! Samantha Who? was a very clever and funny show! :(

Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" also suffered a similar fate. Although the show had promising numbers in its Monday time slot, the viewership fell after it was moved mid-season to Fridays.

Both "Dollhouse" and "Sarah Connor" were up in the air for third season renewals and Fox ultimately felt "Dollhouse" was the best bet, giving it a renewal, according to TV Guide.

Even with "Terminator Salvation" due out in theaters this summer, Fox said buzz for the movie will not bring the show back. The show "has completed its run — and I think it had a nice little run," Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly said in the article. "We make no apologies. It had a huge launch ... and we gave it a lot of support. We tried, but it's time to move on."

Twitterers shared their disappointment:

1.

CBS Has a New "Survivor" Winner

Spoiler alert! According to E! Online, Alabama cattle-rancher James "J.T." Thomas Jr. came out on top in the "Survivor: Tocantins" finale last night.

JT was chosen unanimously as the winner at the final tribal council, capturing the million-dollar prize and becoming the 18th season's sole survivor. Viewers at home also voted JT the fan favorite, adding another $100,000 to his winnings.

"I'm happy — it's probably the happiest I've ever been in my life, obviously," Thomas said.

JT used his nice guy image and charm to fly under the radar for much of the game, winning the final two immunity challenges and beating out friend and fellow competitor Stephen Fishbach to take home the victory.

Most Twitterers were thrilled by the results, and even those who were rooting for someone else tweeted some JT praise:

"Chuck" Will Return to NBC

The campaign to save "Chuck" apparently paid off. According to EW.com, NBC will renew the spy-comedy for its third season, giving it a 13-episode order.

While the renewal news is good, it will come at a price for members of the show. Warner Bros. agreed to "make significant budget concessions, including scaling back the number of episodes several members of the show's stellar supporting cast will appear in and, per one insider, possibly eliminating one actor altogether."

Still, the Twitterverse was excited by the news:

1.
MikaylaLeigh Chuck has been renewed! So so happy.

Pink and Carey Hart Together Again

Pink announced on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" airing today that she and motocross racer Carey Hart are back together, reports PEOPLE.com. The couple split two years after their 2006 wedding.

In the segment, Pink jokes with Ellen about her song "So What," a song she wrote about Hart after they split.

"He's in the audience so when I sing, 'He's a tool,' now that's my favorite line," Pink says.

It is unclear yet if Pink and Hart will have another ceremony to affirm their re-commitment. According to the article, Pinks says "we didn't do the paperwork deal," so they are technically still married.

Some tweeters were glad to see the two back together while others are just glad to see Pink:
