"New Moon" Script Found In Trash

Casey Ray, who owns a beauty salon in St. Louis, Missouri, hit the jackpot. Or would have if she didn't have a conscience. Ray found scripts for two films that "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson will be staring in, "Twilight Saga: New Moon" and "Memoirs," a romantic drama expected to begin production this summer, in a trash bin.

So how did they get there? One theory, according to EW.com, goes like this: The scripts were found in a trash bin outside a hotel that is housing actors for George Clooney's latest project, "Up in the Air." A member of that cast is Anna Kendrick, who plays Bella Swan's friend Jessica in the "Twilight Saga." Kendrick's reps have denied that she misplaced or mistreated the scripts in question.

Back to Ray: She considered selling the scripts to the tabloids but, as her lawyer told the AP, she did not want the money. Instead, she returned the scripts to their rightful owners and received tickets to both movies premieres. She'll also get the scripts back from Summit Entertainment after the movies hit the big screen.

Twitterverse reaction ranged from wondering what Ray was doing in a trash bin, to wondering how she could give up the scripts:
