Even a superhero with extraordinary healing powers is taking extra precautions when it comes to the recent swine flu outbreak. The Mexico City premiere of
"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" has been postponed after more than 100 people in Mexico have died from swine flu. According to
People.com, a rep for Twentieth Century Fox says, "We were not only concerned about Hugh [Jackman]'s welfare – and we would never send anyone into harm's way – but we also have an enormous office filled with people we care about. There was no point in proceeding with the current conditions."
Twitterers' reaction to the decision vary from disappointment to humor:
-
