Major Elimination On "Idol"

After guest performances from Chris Daughtry, Slash & No Doubt, 17-year-old rocker Allison Iraheta was eliminated on tonight's "American Idol" results show.

Ryan Seacrest told her, "I know I'll be playing your songs on the radio really soon," and the Twitterverse seems to agree, lamenting Iraheta's departure:

Ryan Seacrest Reveals On Twitter He Knows "Idol" Results

A little more than an hour before the much-anticipated results show of "American Idol" went live, Ryan Seacrest revealed on Twitter that he knows who the final three contestants will be. The Twitterverse immediately reacted:

"Idol" Stage Manager Improving After Stage Accident

Last night, the Twitterverse was busy retweeting Ryan Seacrest's announcement that there had been "a few incidents" with the "Idol" stage, which resulted in the contestants missing dress rehearsal.

EW.com reported that the stage manager Debbie Williams fell down stairs, badly cutting her hand and possibly injuring her hand. Seacrest later used Twitter to update "Idol" fans on how Williams is doing:

Seacrest also revealed on last night's show that part of the iconic "Idol" stage was broken, sending shards of glass everywhere shortly before the live show began. Twitterers warned tonight's guest performer, former contestant Christ Daughtry, to steer clear:

"Gavin DeGraw" on Twitter not the singer

Warning: Followers of the Twitter account @Gavin DeGraw are not reading the singer's tweets, according to gavindegraw.com. Said Twitterer, however, is not trying to pretend to be the singer--anymore.

The profile, under the name Gavin Jason DeGraw, claims under the “bio” section of the page that he is “NOT THE ARTIST! Guy with the same name.” The tone of his last post under that profile expressed frustration at the mix-up. Though, if you go back far enough and view his tweets from earlier in the year, as well as from the fall, he did in fact pretend to be the artist. He is now tweeting under the name @FakeGavinDegraw, his latest post reading “fake is the new real.”

Twitter users were genuinely fooled (and seemed a little saddened) by the 22-year-old from New York. Others are annoyed with the confusion and are looking out for their fellow Twitterers by warning them about what some suppose was an "impostor":

Kirstie Alley Talks Weight Gain

According to PEOPLE.com, Kirstie Alley stepped on a scale for the first time in over a year to find she had hit her highest weight ever. The former Jenny Craig spokesperson said she gained 83 pounds to reach 228.

After severing connections with Jenny Craig, Alley admitted to abandoning healthy eating and exercising for bigger portions and more calories.

Despite her neglectful behavior over the past year or so, she reportedly plans to turn her situation around by getting back on track with exercise and a nutritious diet. The 58-year-old said she will sign up for a triathlon in order to encourage success in her attempt at regaining her beach body.
