Chad Michael Murray Leaving "One Tree Hill"

Entertainment Weekly reports Chad Michael Murray and co-star Hilarie Burton will not return for next season's "One Tree Hill."

The actors play Lucas and Peyton, who got married on last night's episode. Now their presence in Tree Hill won't last past the show's season six finale next week.

Murray and Burton have been locked in contract negotiations for several months, but, ultimately, no deal was made. The rest of the main cast secured deals for the seventh season.

Several tweeps are upset about the exits.
