"American Idol" Top Seven Perform

Twitter is buzzing with discussion of tonight's disco themed episode of "American Idol". Lil Rounds kicked the evening off with Chaka Khan's anthem "I'm Every Woman". For weeks Simon Cowell and his cohorts have told Lil her performances have been "karaoke" and implored her to find her own style. The Twitterverse concurred with the judges' opinion that this evening's rendition wasn't original enough:

  1. Lynda Skaggs
LyndaSkaggs Watching American Idol - just listened to Lil Rounds who was HORRIBLE. Wait for it........SHE'S GONE!

Adam Lambert was once again considered a stand-out singer, reinterpreting Yvonne Elliman's classic "If I Can't Have You" with a slow-tempo version. The "American Idol" judges as well as plenty of Twitterers raved:

  1. Rafe Totengco

Two contestants will be sent home on tomorrow night's show, since the judges used "the save" on last week's eliminated performer Matt Giraud.
