Conan O'Brien To Be Jay Leno's Last Guest

Jay Leno announced today that his final guest on "The Tonight Show" will be Conan O'Brien, according to NYTimes.com. The finale of the late night show's current incarnation will air on May 29.

O'Brien, who is set to take over the show from Leno on June 1, was "a natural for the final guest," Leno said, according to the article.

In addition to O'Brien, viewers should anticipate another surprise during the finale. NYTimes.com reported that Leno "had something special planned for the show’s last moments."

After ending "The Tonight Show," Leno will debut a new series on NBC in September.
