But according to Entertainment Weekly, "Angels and Demons" fell short of its predecessor, "The DaVinci Code," which brought in $77.1 million during its debut in 2006.
J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" beamed into second place with a strong $43 million during its second weekend. "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" rounded out the top three, bringing the film's three-weekend total to $151.1 million.

N_Absentia Angels and Demons kicked major butt!!! Although I have to admit that the end was kind of anti-climatic...but interesting.

sidelko I enjoyed Star Trek last night, John Cho & Simon Pegg were nice surprises. Not sure if I like that they undid the whole star trek mythos.
chrisbouldin star trek was only missing one thing, a cameo by bill shatner. must have been too busy making priceline commercials.
