Brooke Shields Outraged at Tabloid's Antics

Brook Shields will take "every lawful action against all who were involved" in checking her 75-year-old mother out of a New Jersey assisted living center last week. Per PEOPLE, Teri Shields was seen at a restaurant speaking with a freelance reporter, but the event wasn't authorized by the Shields family. Teri suffers from dementia and was residing in a senior living facility when two reporters checked her out, claiming they were friends of Teri's.

Shields was contacted by police, and claims the reporters were not friends of Teri's and were just looking for a story. The National Enquirer released this statement to PEOPLE: "A freelance reporter who has known Teri Shields for more than 10 years visited her Thursday at the assisted living facility where Brooke says she moved her. Teri asked the reporter to take her out to lunch and to run some errands. The freelance reporter then got permission from the facility to do so."

The police will continue to investigate but no charges have yet been filed.

Kate Gosselin Admits Marriage Struggles

Kate Gosselin discusses her struggles with husband Jon Gosselin in PEOPLE's latest cover story. The Gosselin family is the subject of the popular reality show "Jon & Kate Plus Eight."

After 23-year-old Deanna Hummel's brother claimed that she was having a months-long affair with Jon Gosselin, the family may see a future apart, Kate said. Jon Gosselin previously denied cheating on Kate but admitted to hanging out with Hummel.

While Kate called her husband a center of "stability" and "balance," she said a separation isn't out of the question. In PEOPLE article she's quoted as saying, "You can't imagine yourself in a certain position when all this first happens, but you can do it over some months." Perhaps even more to the point, Gosselin said "I don't know that we're in the same place anymore, that we want the same things."

But the family might stay together afterall: "I will never give up hope that every member of our family can be absolutely happy again," she said.

Wanda Sykes New Mother of Twins

Wanda Sykes left out one bit of information when she appeared at the White House Correspondents Dinner last week: the comedian-actress' wife, Alex, welcomed twins on April 27, according to PEOPLE.

Named Olivia Lou and Lucas Claude, the twins are the couples' first children. They were married in October.

Paulina Porizkova Fired From "Top Model"

According to PEOPLE, tonight's "America's Next Top Model" finale will be judge Paulina Porizkova's last show.

The supermodel said she was recently fired from the reality TV series during an interview with Craig Ferguson. Porizkova told "The Late Late Show" host that the Tyra Bank-hosted show needed "to cut some fat and the fat was me." Producers also told her she has an "ego problem."

Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard Get Married

Wedding bells rang this weekend for Maggie Gyllenhaall and Peter Sarsgaard. The couple tied the knot on Saturday at a small chapel outside Rome, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE. Guests at the wedding included Gyllenhaall's brother Jake and his girlfriend, Reese Witherspoon.

The long-time couple announced their engagement--and Gyllenhaall's pregnancy--in 2006, after being together for four years. Their daughter, Ramona, is 2 1/2.

Gyllenhaall and Sarsgaard starred together in the low-budget 2003 flick "In God's Hands." Tyra Banks Stalker Convicted

Brady Green, accused of stalking model and talk show host Tyra Banks, was convicted Thursday morning at Manhattan's criminal court, reports People Magazine. Along with stalking, Green was also convicted of harassment, criminal trespass and attempted aggravated harassment.

He will serve no jail time but will be required to move away from New York City.

"Jon & Kate Plus Eight" Father Responds To Allegations

Jon Gosselin from "Jon & Kate Plus Eight" has responded to cheating allegations sparked by a photo of him with another woman published by US Magazine.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Gosselin said, "Like most people, I have male and female friends and I'm not going to end my friendships just because I'm on TV. However, being out...late at night showed poor judgment on my part. What makes me sick is that my careless behavior has put my family in this uncomfortable position. My family is the most important thing in my life and it kills me that these allegations have hurt them."

The pressure of being a household name seems be getting to the family. They moved to a rural area in Pennsylvania to get away from prying eyes but still "find upwards of 200 cars parked on the country road outside of their home on any given day," according to EW.

Christina Applegate is PEOPLE's Most Beautiful

PEOPLE Magazine unveiled its annual Most Beautiful issue today, with Christina Applegate on the cover.

The "Samantha Who?" star says she "started to come into my own in my late 20s and early 30s."

According to the interview, part of Applegate's confidence stems from her battle with breast cancer last year. Applegate had a double mastectomy but thankfully didn't need chemotherapy or radiation.
