CBS Has a New "Survivor" Winner

Spoiler alert! According to E! Online, Alabama cattle-rancher James "J.T." Thomas Jr. came out on top in the "Survivor: Tocantins" finale last night.

JT was chosen unanimously as the winner at the final tribal council, capturing the million-dollar prize and becoming the 18th season's sole survivor. Viewers at home also voted JT the fan favorite, adding another $100,000 to his winnings.

"I'm happy — it's probably the happiest I've ever been in my life, obviously," Thomas said.

JT used his nice guy image and charm to fly under the radar for much of the game, winning the final two immunity challenges and beating out friend and fellow competitor Stephen Fishbach to take home the victory.

"Slumdog" Star's Home Demolished

EOnline.com reported today that the home of ten-year-old Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, who played young Salim in the Oscar-winning movie "Slumdog Millionaire," was unexpectedly demolished by an bulldozer.

According to the article, the city claimed they were unaware that the home was going to be demolished and that the Ismail family would be given other accommodations. No arrangements have yet been made, however, and the family is currently homeless.

The Ismails, who lived in the slums of Mumbai for more than 15 years, did not have legal claim to their home, the article said.

Teyona Wins "America's Next Top Model"

Contestant Teyona Anderson walked away with the Cycle 12 title of "America's Next Top Model" last night, reports E! Online.

Anderson defeated finalist Allison Harvard to win representation with Elite Modeling Agency, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics and a six-page spread in Seventeen Magazine.

Anderson impressed the judges, including departing Paulina Porizkova, with her performance in the final Rosa Cha runway show set in Brazil and Seventeen cover shoot.

The 20-year-old beat out 13 other models to take the title and admitted she was in disbelief.

"I'm so proud of myself, it's ridiculous. Like, is this for real?" Anderson said moments after her win.

Harvard's supporters say they also found themselves in disbelief:

Paula Abdul Denies Painkiller Addiction

"American Idol" judge Paula Abdul issued a statement late yesterday denying claims made in a Ladies Home Journal article that she went to rehab for a 12-year painkiller addiction.

Breaking Tweets Entertainment, along with other media outlets, reported the initial story on Wednesday but now Abdul is saying the story was fabricated.

According to E! Online, Abdul claims that her stay, three days long versus the 30 that LHJ reported, at the La Costa Resort in California was spent exercising and enjoying the spa.

"I want to make it perfectly clear to everyone that I have never been addicted to or abused drugs in my life," the statement said. "I have never been drunk. I have never entered a rehab or detox treatment center."

The "American Idol" judge also spoke out on WKQI's Mojo in the Morning, saying "It was very stressful for me to hear that and to be quoted saying something I never said."

Melissa Rycroft Sits Out Monday's 'DWTS'

Former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and "Bachelor" contestant Melissa Rycroft was sidelined from Monday's "Dancing With the Stars" competition due to a rib injury, E! Online reports. The injury stems from a difficult routine in last week's competition. Although she was feeling better, Rycroft hurt herself again during rehearsals. Consequently, she and her partner, professional dancer Tony Dovolani, felt it was better for her to sit out for Monday's performance.

Rycroft is expected to make a full recovery and hopes to return to the competition on Tuesday. Thanking her fans for their support on her Facebook page, she wrote "I was doing alright but went to the doc before dress rehearsal for some last minute treatment and ended up having a bad reaction that's affecting my breathing," she wrote. "Hopefully (fingers crossed) I'll be good tomorrow. But thank you for all the love, support and votes! We need it!"

Dovolani performed with professional dancer Lacey Schwimmer on Monday's show.
